In Loving Memory

Jayas Juzta Cloudy Day

Cloudy

January 5, 2004........March 7, 2007

Cloudy came to us from Jaya Great Danes and Border Collies in IL, in early 2004,  to be my husband Toms' trucking companion.

And what a wonderful companion and friend she turned out to be.

Always filled with joy and love and playfulness.

She never met a person she didn't love or who didn't love her.

She rode in the semi with my husband and was cuddled with and shared his bunk, meals and was so delighted each time she came home to see me and her Great Dane brothers and sisters.

We lost our sweet girl on March 7th 2007, to a tragic accident, she passed to the bridge in her Daddys' arms with him telling her how much she was loved.

She is now a Cloud in Gods arms and we will miss her forever as she was a part of us and of our family.

Chase that ball in heaven sweet girl with our Gracie, Fred, Midnight, Belle and Amiee.  In Gods good time we will all meet again

Daddy and Mommy miss you horribly.

Have You a dog in heaven, Lord?
Is there room for just one more?
'Cause my little dog died today,
She'll be waiting at Your door.

Please take her into heaven, Lord,
And keep her there for me,
Just feed her, pet her, love her, Lord,
That's all she'll ask of Thee.

They say memories are golden,
well, maybe that is true.
But I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I've cried,
if love alone could have saved you,
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no other dog could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to Heaven
and bring you back again.

A Parting Prayer

Dear Lord, please open your gates
and call St. Francis to come escort this beloved companion across the Rainbow Bridge.

Assign her to a place of honor,
for she has been a faithful friend and has always done her best to please me.

Grant me the strength not to dwell on my loss.
Help me remember the details of her life with the love she has shown me.
And grant me the courage to honor her
by sharing those memories with others.

Let her remember me as well and let her know that I will always love her.
And when it's my time to pass over into your paradise, please allow her to accompany those
who will bring me home.

Thank you, Lord,
for the gift of her companionship
and for the time we've had together.

And thank you, Lord,
for granting me the strength
to give her to you now.

Amen.
